I didn't really want to touch on this subject, but I kind of feel as though I have to. Their are people on this site that are not even teenagers yet. I've seen users as young as 10 reading and writing love stories or taking and making quizzes. This is a public site free for anyone to use and enjoy. It's a safe and cool environment for people to share their creativity with other users.

I think the reason I prefer this sub is because people who write fanfiction A) have a greater sense of community due to fandoms B) write because the genuinely love writing and their topic with zero expectation of earning fame or money C) don't see eachother as competition, infact more writers means more content which we want D) the community has very high expectations of kindness and tolerance.
